We are immersed in iridescent electric blues, as in defiance of our wildest imagination. Out of the depths, an island is raised. A truly magical phenomenon orchestrated by the dance of the sun and the moon  

This is Montgomery Reef, the world's largest inshore reef. On the turning of the tide every day, millions of litres of water are effortlessly shed. Spectacular cascades and waterfalls flow into a warren of channels and alleys teeming with wildlife rushing to not be caught atop of the newly born island.

This place had to be seen to be believed, and while it was surreal to be in the thick of it all unfolding…when got a glimpse from above we were gobsmacked.
