We once saw an image that got our minds racing...At the time, we could hardly imagine taking our boat right up to a waterfall, let alone over what is normally dry land, to tie off to the cliffs and let a mammoth 12m tide run out and leave us stranded and landlocked in the Australian outback.

But the reward for such a daring feat hooked us on the idea. If we could pull it off, we would have our own personal waterfall infinity pool, the calmest night sleep in the history of boat anchorages, and be free from even the remotest possibility that someone would come to crash our anchorage. Not to mention, it would make a wild story that would have sailors around the campfire wondering if you were pulling their leg for years to come. 

Thanks to an image, our plans were evolving, we had a new destination on the list of places we knew we wanted to sail to. It was starting to look as though we might do something crazy like sail around Australia.

In ‘Locked In’ we have captured our own version of the image that was part of the inspiration that led our life in a completely crazy, wild and wonderful new direction. We hope this image may spark a curiosity or inspiration somewhere inside of you also.
